Mandaps by Dhoom had the pleasure of decorating the venue for the nuptials of Maria and Anand. It was a fantastic mixed wedding, of the beautiful bride from El Salvador and the handsome Gujarati groom.
The ceremony took place at the Bridgewater Marriot, starting in the morning with the marriage rituals done in traditional Gujarati custom, followed by a reception in the evening. For the main wedding ceremony, Mandaps by Dhoom had created an eye-catching mandap with four pillars, and gold spirals, which were set in a half-moon shape. It was draped with a shimmering red and gold fabric canopy. The attractive bride, dressed in red, white, and gold ghagra, and in make-up done by Mercedes Crescimbeni... and the good-looking groom in a similarly colored sherwani... sat on white and gold sankheda chairs as the priest united them in holy matrimony. The aisle was set up in a matching décor, with gold filigree pedestals topped with a bunch of fresh, colorful flowers such as - blue curiosa roses, white hydrangea, fuchsia stock, pink Lillies.
The evening décor for the reception was in shades of purple, gold, and white. The stage for the occasion was set up with striking purple fabric. Maria and Anand had changed into a charming white gown and formal black tie suit. A lovely gold colored chaise for the couple was provided by Mandaps by Dhoom, and they were highlighted by an incandescent candle backdrop panel. The table décor consisted of a nice mix of high and low center pieces to brighten up the reception hall, where the mood was an amalgamation of fun, romance and melancholy as well as cheerful emotions. When Family and friends needed to catch their breath from dancing to the beats of DJ Deesh, they rested their feet in the comfortable yet elegant white chairs, covered with a fine gold sash, which were present at the marriage ceremony as well as the reception. The essence of love, commitment and familial feelings was greatly emphasized by the meticulously designed décor by Mandaps by Dhoom.
